Every week between now and Christmas a different charity will benefit from public donations to purchase carrots to feed the reindeer and other animals at Baytree Garden Centre in Weston.
The first charity to benefit was the Spalding branch of the Royal British Legion, which last weekend collected £288.27 for the Poppy Appeal.
This weekend Children In Need will benefit from donations towards the carrots, which also feed the lamas, ponies and baby camel at Baytree.
The carrots are donated by Lincolnshire Field Products managing director Robin Hancox.
