Have your say

Have you ever been on a blind date with a book? The old saying is: “You can’t judge a book by the cover” and Deeping Library is out to prove it true with a selection of ‘Blind Dates’ to borrow.

Are you brave enough to choose a book wrapped up in plain paper and identified only by its opening sentence? If so, come along to the
library, pick a print or audio book from the selection on the shelves and discover a new author or a new plot that you might never have found otherwise.

Try out one of these, for instance: “It was in the first week of January when Tamsin Hayes decided to kill her husband” or “‘What now?’ said the man at the end of the dark carriage corridor.”

Who? What? Why? Find out for yourself and take a Blind Date with a new literary experience.

The Blind Date books are available free to all library users. To join Deeping
Library, call in and register at the counter or follow the links at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk
