More than 500 people partied the night away in Spalding, raising thousands of pounds for two great charities.
The annual Midsummer Ball at the Springfields Events Centre looks to have raised up to £15,000 and the organisers are splitting the money evenly between Macmillan Cancer Support and Action Medical Research.
Tanya Beresford, a member of the committee, said that the night was a big hit.
“We had 510 people at the event, everyone had a great time,” she said.
The night was accompanied with some live entertainment from the Bunny Girls and Tommy T and the Belletones.
The theme of this special evening which was Mad Hatters.
“The Bunny Girls were there because of the theme and, along with the band, they were great,” added Tanya.
“I want to thank everyone involved in running the ball, everyone who donated prizes, the sponsors of the event and the people who turned up. We have been going for 21 years and wouldn’t be able to do it without them.“
