SOUTH Holland Post 16 Centre is celebrating after Level 3 hairdressing students proved they are six of the best.

Chloe Burton, Rebecca Horrell, Sarah-Michelle Grogan, Alice Turner, Sophie Andrews and Rhianna Kelly have qualified as state registered hairdressers and can add the letters ‘SRH’ after their names.

Tutor Jayne Schauenberg believes it is far better for customers to go to qualified hairdressers rather than untrained people.

She said: “They can employ other unqualified hairdressers and all can use chemicals with no training that can ruin and have ruined lives.”

Ms Schauenberg, who sits on the Hairdressing Council, says the six students may one day find themselves invited to the Hairdressing Council tea party at the House of Commons.
