A new 24-hour gym is hosting a fun event to support a mental health initiative.

Snap Fitness, which is based at Wardentree Lane in Pinchbeck, will be supporting the Mental Health Foundation as part of the national Mental Health Awareness Week.

On Tuesday, May 10, an all-day event will be held - with members asked to donate £5.

That will allow them to enter three different challenges; everyone will try to complete a 2000 metre row, a 20km cycle and a 5km run in their quickest times possible.

The winning male and female will be offered a month’s free membership at the gym.

It first opened in December last year under the management of Ruby Parvez.

Her facility is one branch of a national club, and its aim is to raise £50,000 for the mental health charity throughout the month of May.
