HOLBEACH fitness expert Nick Franklin was pretty sure he could cycle for 24 hours, but cycling non-stop for 48 hours proved a real test of stamina and endurance.

Nick (24), of Edinburgh Walk, took on the stationary cycle challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of his father Graham who died of a heart attack at 52.

Thanks to the support of friends and co-workers at LA Fitness at King’s Lynn, where he works as a personal instructor, Nick raised £2,000 for the charity.
