Spalding Beer and Music Festival IV gets the go-ahead from South Holland District Council despite objection on environmental health grounds




Thousands of people will be able to enjoy the annual Spalding Beer and Music Festival after a cloud over its future was lifted today.

The future of the May bank holiday weekend event looked uncertain after an objection was raised by environment health officers concerned with live music played at the festival.

But after a meeting earlier today (Thursday), members of South Holland District Council's licensing panel granted a Temporary Event Notice for the two-day event on May 25 and 26.
