Super turnout at Saracen's Head Christmas fayre

There was a cracking turnout at Saracen's Head Christmas fayre on Sunday afternoon.

And more than £775 was raised for the village hall fund in just two hours.

"It went very well indeed," said organiser June Taylor. "It was probably the most people we have had for a long time."

Attractions included a snowball game - throwing snowballs into Santa's sack - a craft stall, Christmas cakes, a cracker game and a hamper raffle.

Of course, Santa put in an appearance, with presents all round.
