Patrick Mews has spent his career in farming and says he is always looking for new ideas for the business.
He has combined farming with teaching music in primary schools and piano at home for about 20 years, as well as being involved in youth choirs when he was younger. He now plays the organ for various churches in the district.
Anne, who has camped with Boys Brigade, spent 22 years as headteacher at schools in Long Sutton, Sutterton and Deeping St Nicholas, and took early retirement three years ago.
Now, when she is not doing student teacher assessments for the University of Lincoln, Anne is cleaning cabins, while Patrick looks after the administration of the business, grass cutting and whatever else needs doing.
If things go well this year, Patrick says they will consider adding a couple more Wigwams to the site – there is planning permission for 12 in total – and improving the amenities with the addition of a small swimming pool.
