Moulton great-grandad (92) plans tandem skydive from 13,000ft

Daredevil great-grandad Alan Gilbert (92) is ready to take on a tandem skydive from 13,000ft to raise money for Cancer Research.

The retired lorry driver from Moulton is already king of the zip wire - always finding faster and longer ones to conquer - and in October he completed a wing walk.

Alan spent 15-minutes strapped to a frame with a tiny seat above the wings of a WWI aircraft, finding time to admire the countryside from 300ft above the airfield.
