Deepings First Responder group is able to train more volunteers thanks to South Kesteven District Council grant




Two new volunteer medics will soon be helping patients thanks to two councillors.

Deepings First Responders will be able to train additional emergency thanks to South Kesteven district councillors Judy Stevens and Jill Thomas donating a £663 Ward Member Grant.

Co-ordinator Helen Bembridge said: “This money will help us train and equip two new responders which will help us provide more hours of emergency cover for the community.”

Coun Stevens said: “When we heard about the need to train more staff in the Deepings it was a straightforward decision to allocate a grant to help it happen.”

Coun Thomas said: “I’m pleased we are able to help the group.”
