Millions were won and lost one night in 1995 when a Casino Night was held at Gosberton Clough and Risegate Primary School.

The event raised over £250 for the Friends of the School.

Parents and friends of the school received £3,000 of ‘funny money’ with their entrance fees and could choose from a variety of games, from roulette to blackjack to slippery sam.

Members of Spalding Young Farmers’ Club acted as croupiers for the evening and a ploughman’s supper was served.
