A disco for more than 60 youngsters at Gosberton Clough and Risegate Primary School raised £65 in 2000.

Frances Healey and Fiona Gray provided refreshments at the event in the school hall.

Lynn Richardson and Robert Haresign acted as ‘doormen’ and Lynn’s husband David spun the tunes.

Lynn, chairman of Friends of the School, said: “They all enjoyed it and I’m sure we’ll be holding another one in the summer term. This is the second disco we’ve organised.”
