Gosberton Academy supported Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Pupils at a South Holland primary school wore gold to support friends who have been treated for children’s cancers.
Staff and pupils at Gosberton Academy supported Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and raised £130.
This is a cause close the to school’s heart as two pupils have battled leukaemia.
Head teacher Tom Baxter said: “ We have seen first-hand what the children and the families go through – both children continued to attend Gosberton Academy during their treatment and have continued to go from strength to strength.
“This yearly fundraiser acts as an annual reminder of what two of our children have been through and how strong they have been.”
