Long Sutton Cricket Club delighted with girls cricket course
A group of 21 girls successfully completed a eight-week cricket course in Long Sutton - making it the most popular of its kind in the county.
The series of Monday night girls-only sessions ran as part of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s popular All Stars programme - and followed mixed sessions for younger children.
The course was free and all of the girls received a bag, bat, ball and shirt with their name on.
The programme was delivered at Long Sutton Cricket Club by Georgina Synnott and Andy Crisp as well as Emily Hill from Lincs Cricket.
The club is now looking to run more All Stars sessions in January.
