The funeral service for former Free Press and Spalding Guardian editor Clive Brown will be held at Surfleet Crematorium, starting at midday on Thursday, April 14.
Clive died aged 82 in Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, in the early hours of Easter Sunday.
As well as having a long career in journalism, Clive was a long-standing member of The Rotary Club of South Holland.
He was awarded Rotary’s highest accolade, a Paul Harris Fellowship, for his tireless support for St Barnabas Hospice in Spalding and for his continued work for the community.
Donations made at Clive’s funeral service will go to St Barnabas because the charity was so close to his heart.
