Spalding area bus operator has concerns that day services will suffer if Government funding is lost

A bus operator which provides services in South Holland has warned that daytime bus services will suffer if they lose funding from the Government.

Marrianne Garbutt, managing director of Brylaine, has raised serious concerns about the possibility of losing funding from the Government at a time when bus operators are facing difficulties posed by the pandemic.

She has said that if the funding isn’t replaced by Lincolnshire County Council, daytime services are likely to suffer, especially as fewer people are using bus services.
