Spalding magistrates' court hosted debate in 2009

A fun 17th century-style debate formed part of an event looking at the past, present and future of the Fens ten years ago.

Spalding Magistrates' Court played host to a live drainage debate as part of the Faces and Facts of the Fens - Back to the Future project.

The students who took part are pictured with Judge David Benjamin, landowner Philip Bosworth, poor Fenman Adam Patman and historian Rex Sly.
