Leaving Tydd St Mary Primary School in style
Year 6 leavers at Tydd St Mary Primary School enjoyed a final day to remember.
Because there are only 15 pupils in the year group, the school was able to get them all in for a day of celebrations.
The day started with a virtual production of sketches presented by teacher Mark Spelman, before a leavers' presentation via Zoom and a Year 6 Silly Sports Day with ‘new’ races created by the children including a tractor race and an egg catch.
Families were then invited to join their children for a socially distanced picnic on the school field before the Leavers' Award Ceremony. The day was rounded off by a water fight.
The Year 6 children still have a disco, film night and overnight camping to look forward to, before a big breakfast the morning before they head off to pastures new.
