For the year six leavers of Monkshouse Primary School it was one last laugh on a fun school trip to Laser Storm on July 20.
Parents delivered their children to the Fun Farm in Weston to play a game of Laser Tag.
They had an action-packed game with their very own laser blaster in a futuristic battle arena, using stealth and tactics to zap their friends and win the game.
Afterwards the children had a meal of either burgers, chicken nuggets, fishfingers or sausage and chips.
Parents then took the youngsters back to school in time for a dance at the KS2 disco.
The children did other fun activities such as pinboard games and playing ‘guess who these grew up to be?’.
Thursday was an emotional day for pupils and staff alike as they prepared to say their final goodbyes before breaking up for the summer holidays.
However the pupils can look forward to starting a new school for their secondary education in September.
