Pepper is the latest adorable dog to feature in our spotlight on pooches that have been rehomed with the help of Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

She is just one of the many that have found loving new homes thanks to the work done by the charity.

Its South Lincolnshire centre, based at Algarkirk, needs funds for new kennels and we are backing its campaign.

Crossbreed Pepper’s owners said: “We adopted Pepper back in June.

“Jerry Green staff were so careful that we were a good match for her and vice versa.

“They even brought her to our house, to make sure she got on with our cats.

“She is such a lovely, fun and affectionate dog, a real character.

“She loves throwing her toys around and getting lots of cuddles. We are now looking for a friend for her, because she loves other dogs.

“We are looking to Jerry Green again, as they helped us get it right with Pepper.”

We are trying to raise £4,000 to help Jerry Green build the first kennel for its new block.

We’ve raised £1558 so far so there’s still a way to go.
