Fly-tippers strike again by dumping bath in a Holbeach Hurn dyke

Disgusting fly-tippers have dumped a bath in a South Holland dyke.

The bath along with a VW camper van suitcase and planks have been thrown into a ditch in Marsh Road, Holbeach Hurn.

Villager Paul Thomas said: "Sadly we see fly tipped rubbish on the roads and verges around our village all the time, but this lot is particularly bad. It also looks very distinctive with that bath, and the case, and I thought someone may recognise it - there can’t be too many people who’ve had a bath replaced in the last few days.

"I really struggle to understand the mentality of people who do this, and wonder what they see when they drive around our country roads, very clearly something very different to the majority of us."

This is the latest in a series of fly-tipping incidents in South Holland.

A wheelbarrow and other rubbish had been found in Weston while farmer Andrew Branton is frustrated with waste regularly being dumped on land in Cloot Drove, Crowland.
