Amir Khan special guest at Spalding Round Table boxing event
Former World Champion boxer Amir Khan is guest of honour at next year's Spalding Round Table Charitable Premier Boxing Event.
Khan won a silver medal aged just 17 at the 2004 Olympics and then won the professional WBA world title at the age of 22. He is currently number nine welterweight in the world.
The all-male black tie event takes place on Saturday, February 15 at Springfields Events & Conference Centre in Spalding.
This is the 26th year of the event, which has raised £250,000 for charity.
The Round Table is promising an evening of succulent steaks, quality wines and port, followed by Amir Khan's speech and numerous bouts of exceptional amateur boxing.
