Holbeach and Pinchbeck schools support charities and enjoy carols

Schools have been supporting good causes over the festive period.

University Academy Holbeach ran an appeal for the town’s community larder following a suggestion by Year 10 pupil Hope Elston.

Senior prefects Lizzie Robinson, Matthew Smith, Wayne Pereira and Joshua Smith and Hope delivered the food.

Teachers from the school visited Year 6 pupils at Holbeach Primary Academy and Holbeach Bank Academy where they sang Christmas songs.

Pinchbeck East C of E Primary hosted a ‘carols from the car park’ after their playing field became waterlogged.Pupils were joined by families in the singing.

Holbeach Firefighters and Chosen Charity Shop joined forces to support the National Firefighters charity. Youngsters were given sweets and posted letters in Santa’s mobile post box.
