Can you help provide fish and chips for Spalding stage show?
St Nicolas Players are asking if any fish and chip shops in the area could help out with a scene in their forthcoming production of The Darling Buds of May.
The show will be performed at the South Holland Centre in March.
Director Jules Jones said: “We are looking for a shop to supply five small fish meals for an act in the play, from March 5-9, which includes the dress rehearsal.”
The shop will be advertised in the show programme.
And people have been amazing already by helping out with the show, Jules said.
“The antiques centre at Baytree has lent us items for the set and Crown Affair in Spalding is doing the hair styling.”
The play is based on the original book and stage play by HE Bates, rather than the TV show, and is set in 1957.
