Fire fears force Spalding schools to shut

Have your say

TWO Spalding schools were forced to send their pupils home this afternoon after an electrical fault was discovered at the site.

The Gleed Boys and Gleed Girls schools closed at around lunchtime. It is believed that there had been a small electrical fire in an outbuilding.

The school telephoned parents and arranged for buses to take students home.
