Final day fun at Weston Hills
Year 6 leavers at Weston Hills Primary School had a wonderful last day.
The youngsters planted a tree to commemorate the unusual end to their primary school journey and were presented with pens and rainbows during a red carpet event.
They then enjoyed toasting marshmallows at the camp fire with the odd song or two, before finishing off the day with a water fight.
Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 were also invited back to school for the first time since March for year group picnics outdoors, with more than 75% of children returning to spend some time before the summer break with their friends and teachers.
