Festive online fun for Holbeach students in 2020
Students at University Academy Holbeach (UAH) spent the run-up to Christmas enjoying some special events.
From a virtual Christmas concert to a streamed performance of a festive play, students got into the spirit with plenty of activities.
Sam Graper, UAH’s head of performing arts, said: “We were able to hold our annual Christingle with Year 7 via Microsoft Teams, with musicians in the hall and each tutor group in class. We also recorded our virtual Christmas concert, which is now available online, that was lovely as relatives all over the world are able to see it.”
Year 9 students also put on their Christmas play, which was watched by fellow members of the year group and staff.
Drama students in Years 9 and 10 were also shown A Christmas Carol from The Old Vic in London and the school joined in with Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, raising £365.
