Moulton Chapel Methodist Church hosts festive feast
The festive season has got off to a fine start for Moulton Chapel villagers and friends who enjoyed tucking into a Christmas meal earlier this week.
Up to four people from across the village helped to cook up a storm for Moulton Chapel's Monthly Lunch Club, which met on Monday.
A total of 25 people from the village and surrounding area enjoyed a three course meal in the Methodist Church.
Diners first tucked into a starter of pate and toast which was followed by a turkey dinner with all of the trimmings.
Christmas pudding came next and cake finished off the meal, which was enjoyed by all of the guests.
They also had fun pulling crackers during the meal.
One of the people who organised the event was Karen Hemmant.
She said: "It went down very well and everyone seemed to enjoy their food.
"They enjoy coming for lunch and a chat with friends.
"We would like to thank Chris Eley Produce for their donations of vegetables throughout the year which makes a big difference."
Diners pay a monthly fee of £4 to attend the lunch club which is popular with residents in the village and the surrounding area.
The methodist church also hosts a craft group on Wednesdays from 10. People are invited to bring their own craft interests to share.
