Holbeach warehouse worker Steve Tucker (44) ran in this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon and set a personal best time of 5 hours 31 minutes and 51 seconds.

Steve said: “It was the hardest, most painful thing I’ve done and much tougher than in 2014 when I ran 6 hours and 37 minutes.

“But I was helped by brilliant support from my wife Sue, and my kids James and Holly.

“We’ve raised £2500 for the National Autistic Society so far and it’s been an emotional time for sure.”
