South Holland police thank farmers for assistance after receiving reports of hare coursing in South Holland and Boston area
Police investigating hare coursing have thanked farmers for their assistance.
South Holland Police also praised the county's specialist road policing and armed response (ARV) for their work in the area yesterday, which resulted in two arrests.
In September the police launched Operation Galileo to tackle hare coursing gangs in Lincolnshire.
In a social media post, South Holland police say: "Great work across South Holland and Boston yesterday by @LincsARV together with some much appreciated assistance from our farming community.
"Two arrested following allegations of Hare Coursing which then failed to stop for the ARV, Fen Branch #OpGallieo"
