Spalding Action Medical Research’s annual Christmas Gift Fair takes place on Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10.
It’s being held at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding (2-9pm on Monday and 9am to 4pm on Tuesday).
The annual fair helps raise funds for Action Medical Research, a UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research.
The charity has contributed to some of the most significant medical breakthroughs in recent history, like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine, all helping to save thousands of children’s lives and change the lives of many more.
The fair will showcase some unusual toys, such as slot-together 3D animals and dinosaurs, as well as bags, scarves, French and Italian ladies’ clothes, hand knitted baby blankets and clothes, and patchwork quilts.
Local companies are represented, such as B & M Collectables, wood turner Barry Winsor, Flowers N Things, and George Adams & Sons. Entry is £2, under 14s free.
