Extreme fitness class for mature women

A group of more mature ladies showed what they’re made of at an extreme keep fit class.

Rather than the more usual scarf-swirling exercises often practised at fitness classes for the over 50s, instructor Sheron Reynolds led a class of about 30 women in a dance fitness session to get the muscles working and hearts pumping.

Sheron, who runs fitness classes in Park Road every Tuesday, said: “It was a fantastic session which showed what mature ladies are capable of. It was extreme fitness for older women and we did a full hour of non-stop exercise.”
