A SPALDING arts and crafts studio has been helping families bring out their creative sides.

Unique Cottage Studios has been running pottery days over the summer for children and adults to get their hands dirty.

Children as young as seven have been able to turn their hand to the craft, producing some impressive creations under the watchful eye of potter Tony Orvis.

Studio owner Carolyn Goodwin said: “It really was a family event. We had children, parents and grandparents all giving it a go.

“Everyone really enjoyed the chance to show off their creativity.”

After the clay has set the children will take their masterpieces home for a lick of paint.
