Gedney Hill could become home to agricultural research and training centre
Plans have been submitted for an agricultural research and training centre which could lead the way in modern farming techniques.
H Sly and Sons has applied to South Holland District Council to construct a environmentally-friendly facility in Langary Gate Road, Gedney Hill, which will promote conservation agriculture.
The family firm hopes to use the site to trial its specialist agricultural machinery, along with working with universities on conservation-orientated agricultural practices.
