Exciting Spalding event set to celebrate the Jubilee

An exciting afternoon of activities and community fun will allow Spalding residents to celebrate the Jubilee next month.

The Jubilee Picnic will be held at Ayscoughfee Gardens on Sunday, June 5 and there will be a host of activities to get involved with.

There will be garden games, a corgi trail and face painting at the free event on the south lawn, which will run from 11am to 2pm.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own picnic and enjoy the beautiful surrounding of the gardens. The Ayscoughfee Hall Museum will also be open on the day.

The town's beacon lighting ceremony will also take place in the Ayscoughfee Gardens at 9:45pm on June 2.
