South Holland residents invited to share housing opinions
An event in Spalding on Friday will give home owners and occupiers aged over 55 in the area an opportunity to share their views and aspirations on local housing.
The focus group will be facilitated by an independent organisation, Housing LIN, on behalf of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Authorities, including South Holland District Council. The event will provide people with the opportunity to share their thoughts on a range of subjects and questions around the future provision of housing for our ageing population in the area.
Topics will include the type of housing they think people need as they age, the care and support options they prioritise, factors when considering moving home and anything else they think is important regarding housing in the district and the rest of Lincolnshire.
The session will run from 2.30pm-4pm and is open to anyone over the age of 55 in the county who wants their voice to be heard to help shape housing policy in the area. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided and a £10 shopping voucher will be given as a thank you for attending, as well as reimbursement for any reasonable travel expenses.
