Estate agency firm with Spalding, Holbeach and Bourne offices sold to new owners

It’s all change for a popular firm of estate agents where new owners are taking the helm.

Hill & Clark, which has five offices in the area including in Spalding, Holbeach and Bourne, has been acquired by Leaders Romans Group (LRG).

After setting up the business in 2000, owner Paul Clark will be leaving as he approaches retirement.

Matt Light, group mergers and acquisitions director at LRG, said: “Hill & Clark is a well run company with a strong local brand and we’re looking forward to working with the team there as they join the LRG family.

“Very little will change overall.

“All of the amazing staff will remain with the business and clients can expect to receive the same great service they have done for many years, but now supported by the LRG brand.”

It has been confirmed that all 33 members of staff at Hill & Clark will remain within the business, with the sales and lettings agency’s name and branding also remaining the same.

Drawing on the high levels of interest shown in the area’s property market in light of the pandemic, Matt says that the company, which is based in Berkshire, felt Lincolnshire was a good area to tap into.

He said: “Lincolnshire is a natural extension for LRG’s East Midlands region and their more recent virtual office which launched in Lincoln.

“It is also a fantastic place to live and the positive changes in 2020 saw remote working add significant demand for property in the area.”
