Controversial plans to nearly double the glasshouse space at a Moulton Chapel nursery have been recommended for approval by South Holland’s planning officers.
But the decision to grant or refuse rests with the planning committee, which meets tomorrow (Wednesday) night.
The Lucksbridge Nurseries application was deferred on January 7 for negotiations with the applicant to see if the amount of glass could be reduced. The company has now agreed to drop the height of three bays from 5m to 4m, but the ground area will remain the same.
In January Coun Rodney Grocock said the glasshouses would be “lit up like the Crystal Palace”.
