WATER has been spilling out onto a Spalding junction for three weeks.
Geoff Neal reported the leak on the corner of Haverfield Road and Priory Road to Anglian Water before Christmas but says nothing has been done to fix it.
He said: “Water is running along the road and the path and when it freezes it’s really dangerous.
“There are a lot of elderly people living in Haverfield Road and someone is going to have an accident.”
An Anglian Water spokesman said the company has more than doubled the number of technicians and contractors available to deal with bursts over the harsh winter.
He said: “These teams have been faced with extremely difficult conditions and are working around the clock to maintain supplies.
“Large bursts are our priority which means we may not get to smaller leaks as quickly as we would like. However, we do still need to know about them and would ask people to call them in on 0800 771881, and we will fix them as soon as we can.”
The spokesman said the leak should be repaired within the next few days.
“We remain very grateful to our customers for their patience and understanding during this tough period.”
