The Lincolnshire Daffodil Association’s annual show is on April 12 and 13 at Springfields Events Centre, writes Richard Barlow.
Richard says that both keen amateurs and professional growers can enter the judged competition classes and adds the show “deserves much support”.
He says: “With the SHE show no longer being held, this is a worthwhile alternative to display the many different varieties of daffodils grown in the county.”
The show is an historic one, first being held in 1902, and only moving to Spalding in 2012.
There are competition classes, a photography competition, floral art classes, plant sales as well as crafts and trade displays.
The presentation of cups will be carried out on Saturday, April 12 by the society’s president, Lady Bruce-Gardyne.
Entry is £2, accompanied children under 16 free. Visit www.lincsdaffodil.co.uk
