Spalding firefighters called to West Pinchbeck dyke fire
A grass verge and dyke bank caught fire.
Firefighters from the Spalding station were called to Tydd Road, in West Pinchbeck, yesterday (Tuesday) at 3.10pm after receiving reports of the blaze.
Up to 36metres by 3 metres of grass verge and dyke bank were burnt by the flames.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
