Blaze at aviary

Lincs and Cambs firefighters worked together this morning (Thursday) to extinguish the blaze using two hose reel jets, thermal imaging cameras and rakes after embers from a bonfire caused a disused aviary to catch alight on Uffington Road, Barnack, around 9am.

Yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the Donington crew attended Friest Lane, Bicker, to reports of a vehicle on fire.

The fire, caused by an electrical fault on vehicle, was extinguished using a hose reel and two sets breathing apparatus.
