CANDIDATES for the upcoming district and parish council elections need to submit their nomination papers to the office of the returning officer between March 25 and 12 noon on April 4.
The electorate has until April 14 to register to vote for those elections and the referendum on the Alternative Vote which all takes place on May 5. New postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on April 14, and new applications to vote by proxy by 5pm on April 21. Applications to vote by proxy can be made on May 5 only on the grounds of medical emergency occurring after April 21.
Voting applications need to be sent to the Electoral Registration Officer at the Council Offices, Priory Road, Spalding, where nomination forms can be obtained.
