A group of youngsters, from the Peele Community College, who care for parents or siblings were treated to a day of crafting fun.
The pupils, who are part of the Young Carers Group at the college, were visited by Duncan Barker-Magowan from Long Sutton Barns who helped them to have a go at some craft activities.
The craft barn session was a welcome afternoon of fun for the pupils, where they painted ceramic objects which were to be put in the kiln and then given back to them.
The youngsters in the group, which has been running for nearly three years by Theresa Earl, meet up regularly at the college and are taken out on day trips to recognise the work they do at home.
The group is made up of 35 youngsters who are in a caring role for parents and siblings with disabilities, chronic illness and emotional or mental health issues.
