Young primary school netball players from Moulton’s John Harrox and Spalding’s Aysoughfee Hall will represent South Holland against the rest of Lincolnshire.
Harrox won the large schools competition and Ayscoughfee were small schools victors in the latest Agilitas Sports Sainsbury’s School Games competition.
Some 237 pupils from 18 south Lincolnshire primary schools descended upon Spalding High to battle it out in the netball competition.
The School Games are in place to build upon the legacy of London 2012 and to try to get as many young pupils as possible involved and competing in school sport.
Organiser Rupert Gibson, was delighted to have 27 teams in attendance, with 10 from smaller schools and 17 from larger schools.
Also, 25 fantastic sports leaders from Spalding High School did a brilliant job umpiring, managing, and officiating the games.
Moulton John Harrox and Ayschoughfee Hall School will go on to represent our region against the other winners from Lincolnshire on March 9 in Grantham”.
