Pupils from Surfleet Primary School took part in a dance workshop during an Olympic-inspired Active Kids week.
Each of the three classes at the school picked a country taking part in next month’s sporting extravaganza and then were taught a traditional dance.
Countries chosen by the children were Greece, Mexico and China – and the day was delivered by the Education Group, which specialises in primary school workshops.
Each class then performed their special dance to the rest of the school.
During the week, children also enjoyed their annual sports day and a special day of activities with Spalding-based Elite Sports Academy, where they took part in Olympic sports such as javelin, high jump and long jump.
“The children were all very tired at the end of a really exhausting week, but they had great fun too,” said head of school Laura Martin.
