Can you help? Spalding Primary School PTA is having its annual Summer Fair and Fun Day on Saturday, June 27, and wants it to be a fun-filled afternoon for everyone to enjoy but needs some help to make the day a success.

They have arranged lots of entertainment and stalls and are looking for volunteers who feel confident to assist or run a stall or help out in general on the day. Volunteers are required who are happy to communicate with visitors in a polite and friendly manner.

Age UK (Spalding) require both drivers and escorts to collect visitors from the Spalding and surrounding area in the Age UK minibus to take them to and from the day centre. Volunteers are required Monday to Friday, 9am–10.30am and 3pm-4.30pm. Drivers must be 25 to 80 years old with a full regular licence. Escorts assist drivers by ensuring doors are locked and seatbelts are worn – they are not required to drive.

How we can help you – Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS) has a new community development officer working in South Holland offering free support to community groups.

Simon Wesley is able to help community and voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises get off the ground, access funding and training and get their governance and paperwork in order.
