Fourteen teams from seven schools travelled to the Holbeach Hub to play the fast-paced game of Dodgeball.
Each school took part in an enrichment session prior to the event, giving all their pupils a chance to experience the sport and the opportunity to be selected to represent the school at the upcoming competition. All schools brought a year 3/4 and a 5/6 team to take part.
All teams had a chance to play each other followed by a final between first and second places. Many pupils had not played Dodgeball before the scheme and it was fantastic to see how quickly they picked up the rules, skills and tactics involved.
Organiser Sean Hughes, of Sport2day, said he was blown away by the pupils’ determination, teamwork and skill during the event and thanked the Holbeach Hub for hosting as well as the staff and volunteers who attended to make the event a resounding success.
He also thanked David Dales for taking some great photographs, some of which are published here.
