Seven local schools have battled it out in a School Games futsal competition held at Spalding High School.
Futsal is a growing sport similar to five-a-side indoor football.
Spalding High, Bourne Academy, University Academy Holbeach and the Deepings School competed in a Lincs SE competition and the Boston partnership schools, Kirton Middlecott, Haven High and Boston High played each other.
All the girls played very well with lots of exciting and close matches.
In the Boston partnership Boston came third, Middlecott second and Haven High first.
In the Lincs SE partnership Deepings came fourth, UAH third, Spalding High second and Bourne Academy first.
Organiser Rupert Gibson, of Agilitas Sports, thanked Spalding High for hosting the event.
Bourne Academy and Haven High will now have the chance to play at the county finals in March.
• The School Games offer the opportunities to participate in sport, compete against other teams and a chance for young people to volunteer and lead. The Games aim to promote participation and competition but also instils the values of teamwork, determination, passion, honesty, self belief and respect.
